Wednesday Words: Change

I used to do Wednesday Words on my other blog every week for a little mid-week inspiration and I think I’ll continue it here because everyone needs a little pick-me-up to get you through the week!

This week has been filled with a lot of life planning & soul searching. With the wedding coming up in less than 5 months, I’ve been finally focusing on me vs. everyone else. However, by focusing on ME, Pandora’s box of what I want to do, who I want to be, where am I going has led me to a downward spiral of self-reflection. On top of that this week was filled with a few disappointments, new challenges & interesting opportunities… from realizing a venture I wanted to pursue is probably not a good idea based on profitability & feasibility, from not getting a role in an organization I really wanted (and was more qualified than that person who got it), to getting new information from people that could change my job direction. There are just a lot of things right now that I need to think about based on the things that have been presented to me.

Yes, I sound vague, but I feel like a lot of people in their late-20s & early-30s are faced with these problems: life direction & change. I am scared of change because it means doing something completely different and taking huge risks. But change can be good right?

Here are some wonderful quotes (thank you Pinterest) that have been getting me through the week. I hope you’re inspired too! marilyn monroe quote good things fall apart

I completely relate! The last couple of years have felt like such a transition phase and things are slowly starting to make sense, but the road ahead is still so unclear!
